Ascenders Academy
Ascenders Academy is a nine-month professional development training program, mentorship, networking opportunities, and more for our Resilient Designer Program participants.
Our goal is to connect these designers with the tools, skills, and community relationships necessary to develop a design career. Whether it’s understanding how to price a freelance project or whether they should learn how to code, our program will be designed to help them ‘break through’ the difficult transition from design student to creative professional, and potentially create their own businesses or side gigs to help weather the storm between full-time positions.
Not only will this positively serve the participants, but it will provide 20+ design leaders in different fields and paths with the opportunity to connect with and mentor impacted designers. It’ll also be a great resource for businesses within our local economy to get the graphic or digital design support they need.
