ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Lia Fetterhoff has been designing for over 12 years, crafting award-winning mobile and web experiences at Loanpal, Google, Nest, TIBCO, Attik, and consulting for startups. Lia’s passion is designing intentional experiences for individuals and communities. She’s facilitated workshops, created Skillshare classes and visual narratives, and currently runs the Roseville UX meetup group.
Lia met Hannah while working at Google Pay and realized they both had an interest in using design thinking to live more intentionally, which led to collaborating on this Life Experience.
For the past nine years, Hannah Chen has been designing user experiences for a wide range of products at Silicon Valley companies, including Lyft, Google, and Oracle. Before the UX industry boom, she researched social networks and data visualization, dabbled in video production, and worked on visual effects.
Design methodology typically applies to products and services, but Hannah believes ‘design thinking’ can also be used in daily life. Hannah is very passionate about helping people apply design principles to many aspects of their lives, with the goal of assisting them in understanding and solving complex challenges. Hannah’s intent is to help people discover their passions, explore future opportunities, and commit to plans that lead to meaningful personal journeys.
